I am 5'7", weigh about 165 and have 36DDD chest. Buying a dress online is always a gamble so I bought a size 10 and 12 just in case. The size 12 was the winner for me. As you can see from the picture, it's not super tight but that's what I wanted. If you have a similar physique but smaller breasts, you could go with a size 10.Otherwise, I am pleasantly surprised with the fit and quality of this dress (especially for the price). It's lined and not super thin material. It was also longer on me than I was expecting given the pictures (the model in the photos must be much taller than me). I was very happy with the length.
Love the feel and flow to this dress. The chest was a tad too big, so I had someone tack it up and it fits beautifully. The pleats look perfect still. I bought this for my Mother of the Bride dress.
This dress was perfect for a more formal occasion.Easy to wash (I used a garment bag, hand wash setting, and delicate clothing detergent) and then hang dry. For wrinkles, steaming worked amazingly well and kept it wrinkle-free for most of the afternoon/evening.I did reinforce the single stitch in the chest area to ensure it didn’t break or tear the fabric and helped offer a bit more support (took less than a minute to reinforce).I’d normally wear a size 12, but ordered a size 14 based on other reviews. This was perfect for the chest area and thankfully the waist area didn’t look too baggy or loose (it was very comfortable and no worries about feeling constricted after eating).The material was very soft and lightweight. No issues with itchiness or feeling uncomfortable at all (I have very sensitive skin and touch sense, so this was a huge plus for me). The color was gorgeous and exactly as advertised online.
I bought so many dresses and this one was the winner. I loved the flow and movement of the dress being a high low. The fabric was excellent quality. It’s lined throughout and has built in bra cups but I still wore a bra to fill it in better. I like the sheer sleeves. I did have my seamstress tack the whole chest so I wouldn’t be fidgeting with making sure my breasts weren’t hanging out. The original stitch on the chest was ready to come undone. I also had a bit of the fabric taken out from the waist down as I felt it was a little excessive on my hips- just poofed out a little too much making my hips look a little wider. I’m 5’6 and 155 pounds and typically wear a size 8 sometimes 10 dress. I’m a 39” chest 33” waist and 42” hip. I ordered this in a 10 and it fit very well through the waist. Beautiful! It was extremely wrinkled straight out of the package. I machine washed it on delicate cold cycle and air dried it on a hanger. Afterwards I gently steam ironed it on silk setting and it looked perfect.
